User-Friendly Pellet Stove Installation
The last thing we want to do is overcomplicate something simple. PelPro pellet stoves and inserts are user-friendly, DIY (Do-It-Yourself) products.

Pellet Stove Installation Tips
1. Always wear safety equipment, including protective gloves. Stove edges can be sharp.
2. Make sure where you decide to put your pellet stove meets (or exceeds) minimum clearances to combustible materials. Check your manual for specific clearances and venting cap requirements.
3. If you’re installing a unit on a combustible surface, you’ll need a non-combustible hearth pad. This hearth pad must extend at least 6” on each side of the unit and the front lip must extend 6” beyond the door glass.
4. We recommend venting vertically, but PelPro products are also designed to vent horizontally.
