Even if you have turned the thermostat down or if you have put your appliance in the “off” position, there might still be heat trapped within your firebox. Suddenly turning off the stove while there is heat in the firebox could be a safety risk. For this reason, your Quadra-Fire stove continues to run its combustion and convection blowers until heat is no longer sensed. If you sense that your appliance is running abnormally please contact your local Quadra-Fire dealer. Please note that unplugging the stove while it is running could cause serious damage to the electrical components—do NOT unplug your unit.
