"Choosing to buy a Harman stove was simple. Being American made, you won't find a better built or a better looking unit out there - bar none, especially Harman's cast line of stoves. I got myself an Oakwood for my first house in 2010, and it is now in its third house and has burned countless loads of wood season after season. I can easily achieve 10-12 hour burn times, and the ambiance along with steady heat output can't be duplicated by any other manufacturer. The firedome combustion package flat out works. "I chose the Harman XXV pellet stove because it's a beautiful stove that really complements our family room! However, what I've come to like most is the least amount of ash it produces (and yes, I find this to be true regardless of which pellet I burn!). My previous pellet stove needed to be shut down and cleaned after only 3-4 bags of pellets because there was so much ash! It's also noticeably hotter than similarly rated BTU output stoves!
